Finished second chance

I'm late in announcing this because i finished on Thursday night after my last blog post. But now that I'm here I finished!!! At the beginning of the series I was complaining about the stereo types of  ghetto people but really I've grown close to drama, which is what I wanted to discuss in today's post.
Why is it that I am so enticed in the drama that is going on in Jayd's life, even though I know she is fictional? Sometimes when i get to the romantic parts you get the tingles, and when she has a choice to make (usually about 2 boys) you can't help but say out loud the answer. I think that I really liked this book, and i think i like it because there is so much drama, and the drama is so big, in their lives, and I kind of don't understand how author's write books. I mean how the hell did this book get in my hand in the first place?
What I love about the author's way of writing is probably how she attracts her old readers by never ending her books, but by ending right at the end of a problem but arising another drama. And so if I want to know what is going to happen I need to read the next book in the series.

Second Chance: conflict

Conflict or drama in Jayd's life (the MC) has shaped her and has made her a better person by learning more on the crew and the crowd that tries to gain on her as well as she knowing who the true players are. In this book we see that Jayd's grandmother is a very important character because she believes in the power of voodoo so it is very interesting to see how based on the grandmothers knowledge and past Jayd can know what to do with the drama that gets in her way. It also helps her make better choices to avoid future problems.
Due to this drama with KJ, Trecee, and Misty, Jayd knows not to trust Misty with anything, not even feeding her a little bit of information. She knows not to be with KJ because he is a liar and a macho man, who thinks he is all, and not going out with KJ it avoids problems like Trecee.
And with this teacher Mrs.Bennett she knows who not to mess with, like Jayd, who doesn't let anyone make fun of her or mess with her.

Reading a new book called second chance

The main character Jayd has continued being the MC in this book from the first book The Fight. So to in the last book KJ- Jayd's ex-boyfriend- broke up with Jayd over the phone after Jayd call, because he wasn't calling, so then KJ broke up with her because Jayd wouldn't have sex with him, so KJ moved on and was with another girl, Trecee. Trecee is crazy over KJ and will stick up to anyone to protect her man. So Misty has been saying stuff about Jayd secretely still wanting KJ back and seducing him, so there was supposed to be a fight at the end of the first week of school. When the fight was supposed to happen someone told both of them that Misty really wanted KJ all to herself and so Trecee ended up beating Misty. Now in this book Jayd has moved on and started dating Jeremy a rich white boy. So far Jeremy has been caught selling weed at lunch because Misty, the bigmouth, led the security guards to them. KJ wants Jayd back, and is trying everything to get her back. Jayd's teacher Mrs. Bennett is being racist to colored people and Jayd is filing a report against this teacher. And Jeremy's mother doesn't really like Jayd. And Jeremy has a certain taste for girls with darker complections and people have been saying thta Jayd is the flavor of the month. And Jeremy's ex is flirting with Jeremy in front of her.
Jayd is also being worried that people are judging her because she is going out with a white boy when she is black, but her true feelings are because he is a gentlemen and she is not hurried for sex like KJ and black men in her life do.

Still Reading....

Well, I'm still reading the same book, The fight, and I've grown to kind of find a double meaning than just a stereo type, not only does the book tell us about the authors interest, but we can also see how spirituality can actually work in our lives and even though we might not believe in spirits and ghosts well there are things in our lives that can actually be in our lives. For example in the book Jade's Mama gives her a lot of cleansings and how can we not if we have any issues, we must clean ourselves and get our own weight or guilt (if there is any) off of us so that we can tackle a problem.
There is also a lot of reminding Jade who she is, which can be very powerful to a person that has a very low self esteem, or even just out of pure comfort we need to be reminded just how important everyone is and so when one tries to put you down their words won't get to you because you already have an understanding of who you are.
