On the 5th book: Courtin' Jayd

Do you guys remember at the beginning of me reading the books about the stereo types and all that stuff. Well surprisingly I'm liking the books and the pending drama in each chapter. And sometimes you see Jayd come to the rescue and help the ones that need her thanks to her legacy of a William's Woman, the voodoo queen. Jayd with her best friend Mickey pregnant and not knowing who the baby daddy is and with Misty getting kicked out of her home and onto the street, with Jeremy and Raheem, their ex's wanting to get back together, and that's just the first 20 pages, so their is definitely more drama, and by the end the drama will be resolved or getting solved.

The book has a lot of those ups and downs that makes a sistah's ghetto life complete and even tough a break from that drama is necessary somehow they can't get out of the drama or prevent the drama from ever happening to her. Something tha I found very interesting is that fate seems to be  big topic, since Jayd's power is to dream the future. And if the future always happens then its destiny. A little confusing to take all at once but its fate and Jayd that make a great team in trying to help out her friends and watch out for enemies.
I actually want to acknowledge something the character said which was: Why do woman be picking out wrong guys? But really do woman pick wrong guys or are they there to be changed or to change the character into being a better person in their next relationship, whether friend or partner.
